I can chooz KDE too?

Alright. OK. I hadn't used KDE in a while. Surely, some things must have gotten better. So I installed OpenSUSE 11 just to check it out. Cuz like, SUSE was/is the best KDE distro right?

I start up the browser, and type in www.slashdot.org...

Wow, and this is supposed to be easy to use? How many users know what cookies or domains are? But it's nice to know that this window is from the KDE Daemon. Great start, guys.

Whatever, let me pull up gmail...

OHHHH! DISSSS! Didn't Apple make safari out of khtml or something? Didn't gmail work on Safari years ago? What's the excuse this time?

Whatever, let me go change some settings...

Hmm, how do I set fonts for other languages? Maybe I can haz English only?

Which encoding is "this encoding"? And is everyone supposed to know what encodings are? And are they supposed to know what all these cryptic names like iso8859-1 are?

Wow. Choice is great. Except none of these are what I want. What does "Use with care" mean? Why is there no "Use memory efficiently (and just work)" option?

Ok whatever, let met check out these text editors that people keep talking about.

Ok, so for whatever its worth, Kate and Kwrite seem exactly the same to me, except one has like 3 more buttons. Oh, but maybe the Kate page will help explain this.

The Kate project develops two main products: KatePart, the advanced editor component which is used in numerous KDE applications requiring a text editing component, and Kate, a MDI text editor application. In addition, we provide KWrite, a simple SDI editor shell which allows the user to select his/her favourite editor component.

Wow, so you made a whole 'nother app just to make it have an SDI interface with the same features. And then you made it so that the only configurable text editor interface you can use is the same one as Kate. Wow, that's a totally awesome use of time if you ask me.

On to more of the desktop. I heard the KDE window manager was pretty configurable. Let me check out the settings I can apply to specific windows...

Ok, someone please explain to me what all those different options mean? How is Force and Force Temporarily different? Can I Remember and Force at the same time? How is this usable at all? Do I have to read the source code to figure it out?

One last blow. I fired up KDE4 since it was supposed to be good as long as I didn't need anything. Well, it turns out that I can't even change the desktop size on the fly. Surely, nobody needs to do that. (BTW, make sure to check out my rotated Firefox desktop icon. Cuz that's totally useful)

Cuz like, SUSE was/is the best KDE distro right?

Probably not. I'm sure there are some better ones out there.

Wow, and this is supposed to be easy to use?

Easier than the command line anyways

How many users know what cookies or domains are?

I'd say maybe 30-40%, maybe even more, but I guess there no accurate way of determining that.

Didn't Apple make safari out of khtml or something?

Yea, but they forked it and call it WebKit, which i'm sure is heavily modified.

Didn't gmail work on Safari years ago?

Yea, but I mean technically a lot of browsers "work" with gmail if you go to the basic html mode.

What's the excuse this time?

Not sure.

Hmm, how do I set fonts for other languages?

A difficult to find option indeed.

Maybe I can haz English only?

LOL I know a rhetorical question when I see it, so you're getting no help from me on this one!! (btw I love lolcats too haha we probably would be best friends in real life)

Which encoding is "this encoding"?

I think it's for the encoding that is currently being used.

And is everyone supposed to know what encodings are?

Nope, not everyone.

And are they supposed to know what all these cryptic names like iso8859-1 are?

No, they aren't supposed to. But it is possible to learn what it stands for.

What does "Use with care?" mean?

It probably means it is not the ideal option.

Why is there no "Use memory efficiently (and just work)" option?

Not sure, but that's a great idea. The KDE people should add that.

Ok, someone please explain to me what all those different options mean?

Idk, they are pretty confusing!

How is Force and Force Temporarily different?

Well one governed by a temporal limit.

Can I Remember and Force at the same time?

Unfortunately they appear to be separate items in the drop down menu.

How is this usable at all?

I'd say it's fairly usable, but very confusing!

Do I have to read the source code to figure it out?

You probably could do some sort of trial and error testing with the GUI options before you resort to that.

Hopefully I cleared up some confusion by answering your questions. Good luck with KDE

I've pissed with KDE since the 1.x days, and changing their confusing options in kcontrol would frequently result in an ugly kcrash screen. You know, that ugly "blue cog on fire" screen. This crap has just never worked right, and it looks like they're keeping tradition alive with KDE 4.

you just admitted less amount of paid developers can do much better job.

"go to the basic html mode"
yes, let's hide the fact by bringing an alternate method that doesn't solve much problem.

LH - "Maybe I can haz English only?"
seriously, linux's lack of multilingual capability is just way too laughable, even the basic translation parts are way imcomplete. for those saying 'linux works for me' using only English, lucky you but world isn't only consisted of english users and they use computers too if you havent figured it.

First anonymous, you embody the FOSS ethos pretty well, Asperger and all. Your 30-40% estimate of how many people know about cookies and domains shows your accurate finger on the pulse of the whole PC-using demographic. But then again, you need collaborators, not users. What's a collaborator good for if she doesn't even know what a cookie is? But anyways, if you want to see tweakability that makes sense, check out Windows. There I said it. You can have it, but you need to like, know how to actually implement it.

I just can't stand those people who don't have a god damn clue about license but scream for GPL like a kid just because most of those projects are free of price by the confused developers who can't distinguish between freedom of source code and 0 bucks. (Except for those nice developers, who actually feel like providing them for free without really trying to get any back from it.)

It was them who licensed the code under GPL (or LGPL or BSD or whatever), so any 'asshole' could 'take away' (and do anything with it within limitations).

I have been laughing when people get mad at people for 'taking' the GPL'ed code and polish them and charge for them, but for those clueless people out there, go read your religious bible, GPL license again, see if it forbids selling forked code. Until then, go suck on candies with the money you saved by using your beloved GPL codes.

Very nice and valid criticism of some parts of Konqueror UI (especially "font size for this encoding", because in fact this setting does nothing). Add to this the missing or misleading context-help text (the one that you are supposed to get by chicking the help icon in the title bar and then various controls in the settings dialog).

Could you please go to KDE Bug Tracking System and file your findings under the "Konqueror" product? This would be a valuable contribution.

No one cares if it works for you. The point is it needs to work for everyone, not just you, to be viable as a mass desktop environment.

@russel
If you were working at the helpdesk in the Leaning Tower of Pisa, you and your computer would probably both be in the tower. Thus your perspective would be no different. Your computer would still appear flat. Thus rotating icons are useless. The only way your claim is plausible is if either you or your computer was in the tower and the other was not. So in short, rotating icons is STILL a useless feature.

One thing I disliked about KDE 4 was when you deleted one of the desktop icons, the underlying file in the operating system didn't get deleted and the icon would reappear upon reboot of the machine. You had to manually open a command prompt or go into Dolphin and delete the file. Now honestly, virtually every desktop environment since the dawn of desktop environments (including KDE 3.x) deleted the underlying file when its associated icon was deleted. It seems like a VERY basic feature. So in short, stop wasting time on making my icons rotatable and give me a workable desktop.

Matter of fact it just happened the opposite way with me. Work PC was XP, and I think i kind of mastered the BSOD contents in a year at work. I tried it as an alternative to all those, and frankly i am not disappointed.

I have complaints about OO, because its slow, but i can read whatever sent to me as offix docs, i can edit them, save them and send back using Evolution, (which by the way is fully Exchange complaint, including calendars), Chat on pidgin or amsn (yeah i don't get the odd yahoo Emoticon or a Audio Alert, )
All my music work (i have to click a music file and it will say it wont play mp3 unless you click the next install button because we dont pay for the codec), my ipod gets synced to Banshee, My ode works better than in windows, (Eclipse is a heavy piece of software, but that IS my IDE of choice and for me it works better on Linux). When i want to view a divx movie i dont have to go to a siteand download stuff, it actually does it for me.
Now for an argument's sake, if i need some bling, all i need to do is enable the Desktop Effects which are installed by default, i get all your Vista Alt Tab stupidity.

So basically i have my work, mails, browsing, movies, music and other basic stuff done here.
Now at home i have a LinuxMCE box, the closest thing i have to microsoft works with it, the Mediacentre remote, the MCE installation was not complex, straightforward questions which you expect from ANY MCE installations. In addition i get a GUI which is non-inhibiting(compared to Vista MCE), clear and easy. It records my TV shows, it plays them back, it stores it to a small external drive, retrieves it, all without using the feared command line.

Dont get me wrong, i HAVE used XP extensively, i have used Vista for 3 months on a laptop which came with it, default. that practically killed the 1GB memory it came with. I upgraded to a 2 Gigs stick and still didnt get NOTICEABLE difference.

Now tell me, why would i think of going back to the BSODs? or the ridiculously memory hungry, crash happy os?

Stockholm syndrome? Dont think so mate. Maybe you have selective blindness

MythTV looks like ass. It reminds me of the "Preview Guide" channel they used to have on cable, except that was just a 1980s Amiga computer with a gen-lock card. It looked pretty good, 20 years ago.

Stable? Perhaps, but the quality leaves a lot to be desired. I saw a guy running this once. The picture cropping was fucked up because you could see the closed caption encoding (line 21) at the top of the picture. The playback was dropping frames, and there was a loud crackle when you changed the channels.

Windows Media Center is not only stable, but polished. It looks good enough to hook up to a high end TV and not be embarrassed when you have company over. Not that you would have to worry about that type of situation.

You said it, brother!
Took me a couple of years to realize this, though - I bought the whole "better OS" crap in 99. These days I won't go beyound live CDs - why bother, I've been through Red Hat, Mandrake, Black Cat; and what I hear from a friend of mine who runs Linux on his laptop and what I read on the internets makes me want to give XP a big warm hug.

BTW, is there an operating system called "Linux"? THE Linux? Sorry, there are a couple dozens of partially compatible with each other operating systems (called "distros"). And yes, I know that if you have nothing better to do with your life you can make applications "for Linux" run on any of those.

But why bother? All of really good free apps run on Windows too, others simply don't matter :)

wingrunr21 said...

Umm, Yonah, have you ever seen MythTV? It looks just like Media Center. Here are two images for comparison:

MythTV:
http://www.kleinkromhof.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/08/mythfrontend.png

Media Center:
http://www.games-fusion.net/images/reviews/LC16M/mce(1).jpg

They look pretty similar.

As for quality, I get perfect TV reception with MythTV. The guy you saw running it probably had poor drivers for his TV card. If you have poor drivers installed, no matter what OS or PVR software you are using, you will get crappy picture. MythTV does take some configuration, however. That was something I accepted when I chose it as my PVR software. I am in no way saying those who use Media Center are stupid and whatnot, I am just saying I like MythTV and not Media Center.

Finally, your insinuation that I have no company (or friends, take your pick) was a bit unoriginal and was hate of far lower quality than most anti-Linux hate remarks on this blog. I expect better from you in the future.

If you experienced multiple BSODs on any XP or Vista install, there can only be three possible reasons for that:

1.) You have shit hardware.
2.) You have shit 3rd party software.
3.) You're as dumb as shit.

Just because gmail works with Safari and both Safari and Konqueror use KHTML doens't mean that gmail considers Konqueror supported. It uses an exact browser check, rather than testing if features are actually supported.

Also, since Novell bought Ximian OpenSUSE has been Gnome biased. Try Kubuntu.

blackbelt_jones said...

I love Linux, but I too am mildly annoyed at KDE's decision to push Konqueror as the default web browser, instead of the of the more user friendly and media compatible firefox. Konqueror was an awesome file manager, but now they're pushing Dolphin, which has a few advantages, but some big disadvantages, so I'm going to have to shuffle back and forth between the two.

And the fact that they're pushing that "for web browsing only button" reinforces my suspicion that Konqueror the file manager has been marked for death. And that pisses me off. Even if Dolphin is so goddamn wonderful, that really pisses me off. They're talking about Dolphin is simpler for newbies, and Konqueror is a "Power user" file manager, but that's transparently nonsense. Dolphin may be better than Konqueror, but no way is it simpler.

openSuSE is not GNOME-based. They use KDE mainly and give a ton of support to the KDE project. Most reviewers consider them the premier KDE distro. Kubuntu, on the other hand, is considered one of the worst implementations of KDE.

Also, Safari uses Webkit, not KHTML. Webkit is based on KHTML, but it's much further along and continues to blow past KHTML. And, no, Konq cannot properly present gmail's normal interface.

That's why the stubborn dev's finally caved in, after insisting for the longest time that they wouldn't switch to Webkit, and are now going to be working on Konq+Webkit.

I think you never anticipated this blog would be as popular as it is.

therefore you need fresh new content.

this is not it.

this is actually not hard to do.

look, no OS is perfect and they all suck monster dog balls in one way or another. i get it, you hate linux, super.

i am unsubscribing not because you hate linux, but because you jumped the shark.

its hard to do haterism well, and you are not doing it that well these days.

next review gnome, cause it sucks in ways you can mock for sure. then firefox. then mac osx. i mean shit do every program on earth. it will be about as good as this post.

PS I hate KDE for many of the same reasons you do i just dont give a fuck about it and i use linux. i guess i a luser, i just dont fucking care, it works for me.

and i dont care if other people use it or what. fuck them, fuck you and fuck this blog.

Exactly.

Its incredible that the one fairly simple thing that could be done to make Linux immediately much more useful, usable and attractive, the "community" will never, ever do - decide on one set of core component binaries that will effectively turn Linux into a predictable, stable OS for software companies and individuals to target.

LinuxHater already explained it very well here:
http://linuxhaters.blogspot.com/2008/06/standardizing-linux-suckiness-20.html

I'd like to add my reasons for why I think this is the case:

- Community blindly addicted to the idea of choice, not realising or caring that this particular choice is a worthless and frustrating one
- Community ideologically opposed to encouraging good quality closed source apps running on Linux, preferring to frustrate all developers, current and potential
- The main reason: Community perpetually stuck in "works for me" attitude, continuously abusing Linux by treating it as a tech demo platform, not actually concerned about other people who may have started using and relying on the software.

Hmm... I'm very curious as to what you'd bash when it comes to Xfce or GNOME (both of which I like better) ;)

This is too easy to take :P

No shit, especially KDE 4,which isn't finished, and has been dreadfully promoted. To some extent, they deserve to be mocked for hyping it like this before it's finished, and especially for pushing it on their website to the exclusion of the still alive and much more functional KDE 3.5... and now they're getting mad when the public is confused.

Of course, in the unlikely event that whoever runs this site has trouble finding fault with XFCE or gnome, they won't be stuck. They've got that fallback riff. You know the one I mean. You can always tell when they've got nothing, and they're just riffing.

The software for KDE may yet turn out to be great, if you're into that sort of thing (I prefer window managers to desktop environments) but the KDE4 promotion has been replete with hubris and blunders. From the ad copy in the website to Aaron Seigo's poigniantly bad haircut in the videos, (I've known him to be a hell of a nice guy, btw), the whole campaign seems ripe for mockery. It must have seemed like a Godsend to whoever maintains this blog.

But all the bad bad PR will cease to matter if the software is good. I'm prepared for the worst, but I'd like to see them make fools of us all, myself included.

It's an abuse of polymorphism if there ever was one...

Maybe the KDE devs were lazy, had this hemorrhoid.. err plasmoid class and said "screw it, let's just use it for the icons as well."

That's the only feasible reason I can think of why rotating icons would be useful.

Anonymous said...

Now funny bit. Why are we even bothering to answer this? Not like I could not pull windows apart in places for having what there sections. Yes there are sections of windows that give people the ISO number only for language.

Besides all .0 and .1 of KDE have been works in progress since the start of the KDE line. .2 .3 KDE becomes useful.

I'm not an OpenSuSE developer, but my impression is still that SuSE is now very clearly gnome biased. The infamous Novell-Microsoft deal obviously had a lot to do with Mono, all of the NLD desktop apps they show off are Mono based (Banshee, Beagle, etc.), they created the slab gnome menu, compiz is a novell developed metacity replacement (it could replace kwin but kwin has gotten its own support and compiz used gnome stuff like gconf), etc. I wish they were still KDE oriented, but I doubt it.

Anonymous said...

@jengu

Look, if you're gonna bother posting and disagreeing on the internet, you might as well look up what you're talking about. In short, you're fucking wrong.

I'd post about all the support openSuSE gives KDE, being a patron, number of commits, testing releases, etc, except you OBVIOUSLY DON'T GIVE A FUCK. If you cared about truth, you'd fucking look it up instead of saying that in your "impression", openSuSE is GNOME-biased. Whatever biased means. And you don't even have a clue about Compiz, yet you spout off about that.

Gee-fucking-crimminy you're a moron.

Jengu said...

@Anonymous: Calm down. I already admitted I'm not a developer and thus not an expert, and I gave some specific examples of how SuSE seems to have refocused on Gnome development, which you have chosen to ignore. SuSE is still a KDE patron yes, but that goes back to before they bought Ximian and I could see them not wanting to backpedal on it to avoid the inevitable flaming.

The standard NLD desktop, their polished commercial product, is Gnome. If they are still a KDE oriented distro, why is that? And why did they buy a Gnome centered company? And why did they sign a deal with Microsoft to protect a Gnome focused technology (Mono)? If they've done something similar for KDE projects, I'd love to know. SuSE no matter what has a vested interest in KDE applications running well on OpenSuSE, since most users will use apps from both Gnome and KDE, but that's different from saying they're focusing development on KDE.

Jengu said...

P.S. I should clarify what I meant by 'biased.' I mean my impression is that most of the commercial (paid developer) effort from Novell is more going towards developing Gnome and Gnome applications. SuSE has a large KDE community indisputably and some of those community members are developers.

Linux development is underlying strange premises. "Real programmers" provide coding goodness for everyone who is not too dumb to understand all these things you mentioned. Everyone who IS too dumb, is not allowed to own a computer at all. From nerd to nerd. If you want it more user friendly, you get a lapidary "code your own!" Everyone who actually tries to improve the nerdiness and wants to get things going, regardless if that means leaving the "open source" thing a bit behind, he gets kicked in the ass because he "betrays the good cause". MS is accused to force their users to their strange paradigms and at the same time Linux users are being forced to accept Linux guru's not less odd paradigms. "If it's too hard for you, fuck you, go to Billy" is all you get if you criticize user friendliness.
Criticism is also generally received exactly as it is in Redmond - they just don't understand what the hell you're talking about... "everybody who doesn't love us must be somehow retarded". There is nothing negotiating between the blind nerdiness of developers and open source politicians/evangelists and the blind dumbness of potential users, who give a shit on software politics and psychology. All they want is to do certain things with their computers, mostly watching porn and playing games and then some work of course, preferrably as easy as possible and the OS is just an interface to the thing they actually want to do with a computer. This is such an outrageous low-life intent for OS politicians and nerd coders that this is never gonna happen with Linux. And I'm sure 2/3 of the Linux world is quite happy about it. Well, I can't do the things why I own a computer either on Linux. I feel ignored and frowned upon just because I want to take maximum benefit of modern computing and I'm sick of nerds who understand "butt" if I try to start an objection with "but". Go and fuck an iceberg, Tux.

During testing with Suse 10.3 (which I happen to like, but I won't forgive lame bugs), we were doing some user end type testing. One such test was to login a user, an fill the homedrive up. This was a user test because users fill machines up and we wanted to test what happens.

Fair enough, the network copy failed once the drive was full.

Because we did what users do, and made home a large portion of the drive, we basically had to clean up. At this point we made the disasterous choice of attempting to highlight all the files we now wanted to delete, and we dragged them to the trash.

What happened then was a pop up window occured for every file. This hogged the machine and as they popped up over and over till the machine ground to a halt, our observations were... this is not very good.

The machine ended up being hard locked. Hard reboot later, and despite being 10.3, we can't give this to users.

The trash can can't be used when there is no space left, but thats something a user should be told about, not merely plastered with thousands of windows until CRASH.

While I quite enjoy Linux, there are far too many occasions where this pre-BETA stuff is taken as the norm, and its just wrong. This should not have happened in SuSE 1, let alone 10.x

Mr. Goodbar said...

This post is not entirely fair.

KDE is not for everybody. For a certain technical audience, its complexity is useful.

I'm a software developer and I love how flexible and customizable kwin is.

Some tools must have a steep learning curve because they are simply very powerful. KDE, emacs and vi are all examples.

julian67 said...

But KDE doesn't claim to be for a "certain technical audience", it claims to be "an easy to use contemporary desktop environment " and to have *solved* the problem of "The lack of an easy to use contemporary desktop environment"

And how is making web browser mouse gestures a subset of locales and keyboards anything but plain stupidity?

Kwin has many merits, it is an excellent and highly configurable window manager, one of only a few that can be made to work the way I want it to work, but I don't use it and don't use KDE because overall KDE has glaring faults like this that they simply refuse to acknowledge let alone fix. One of the worst is the gross waste of screenspace, such as oversized toolbars, totally unacceptable on small screens or many widescreens. Put Konqueror in fullscreen mode and guess what? It isn't fullscreen! It still has a simply enormous status bar and a top bar. Konqueror fullscreen gives me *less* page space than other browsers manage at default settings. Full screen! The clue is in the words full and screen...I want the screen to be full of content, not of Krap! People have been submitting bugs about all this for years and they are disregarded every time, 100%, no exceptions. While KDE has more config options and buttons than I can count there are certain obstructive features that *may not* be altered by the user. Ultimately the purpose of an OS and a desktop is to enable the user to productively use applications and tools. KDE presents some high quality applications but inflicts too many stupid, irritating and persistent obstacles.

The letter K. How quick is it to scan browse a menu tree when every damn thing is named with a Kapital K!!!!????? Jesus fukking wept. KDE people talk about usability, they commission usability studies. Then they ignore every single piece of good advice and fukk it up even worse and in new and previously unconsidered ways to produce KDE4. There's a reason that Gnome is endemic and Xfce is gaining popularity. It's that for a modern *nix desktop KDE for most people is no kind of choice at all. They have failed horribly through stubborness and elitism and now they're digging themselves in even deeper.

Mr. Goodbar said...

@julian67: I agree with you and the LH that KDE is failing at its mission if it wants to be an easy-to-use desktop for everyone.

It's not easy to use. It doesn't need to be - it's powerful and those of us who need its power appreciate it.

(An aside about the KDE web browser: I don't use Konqueror, I use Firefox, and I don't really understand why Konqueror continues to be developed as a web browser.)

julian67 said...

It does need to be easy to use as that is its stated mission!

As for "those of us who need its power" and "a certain technical audience" please stop this egotistical masturbation. KDE fanboys always trot this one out and it's BS. Look at Jeremy Allison who's recently commented favourably on this blog and the author's KDE section. He's the main developer of Samba and hardly a noob and he seems to manage just fine using Gnome. All this stuff about "we're special, we need special powers, KDE is not meant for lesser users" is self regarding nonsense and merely an excuse for KDE's glaring failings, the principle one being to refuse to acknowledge them.

Mr. Goodbar said...

I'm not trying to deny KDE's failings: I'm up front about it not being a good environment for the masses.

I'm okay with its "failings" because it makes up for them with a few very good components that are important to me.

Gmail "incompatibility" :
Google's fault. Gmail works pretty well on konqueror, but google chooses to sniff UA strings (just go to konqueror settings and identify as safari/firefox and gmail will work fine).

Rotating icons :
It's rotating-anything in fact. While it's pointless for icons, it's nice for other things like photos. And no developer time was wasted : that feature comes pretty much free with QT.

Window-specific settings :
Right-click on the combo-box and choose "what's this" (or click the "?" on the window, then on the combo-box). The options all make sense and are explained very clearly. The "what's this" help method should be easy to find : it's used everywhere on KDE and Windows, amongst others.

There was this guy who believed very much in true love and decided to take his time to wait for his right girl to appear. He believed that there would definitely be someone special out there for him, but none came.
Every year at Christmas, his ex-girlfriend would return from Vancouver to look him up. He was aware that she still held some hope of re-kindling the past romance with him. He did not wish to mislead her in any way. nike shoxsSo he would always get one of his girl friends to pose as his steady whenever she came back. That went on for several years and each year, the guy would get a different girl to pose as his romantic interest. So whenever the ex-girlfriend came to visit him, she would be led into believing that it was all over between her and the guy. nike womens shoes The girl took all those rather well, often trying to casually tease him about his different girlfriends, or so, as it seemed! In fact, the girl often wept in secret whenever she saw him with another girl, but she was too proud to admit it. Still, every Christmas, she returned, hoping to re-kindle some form of romance. But each time, she returned to Vancouver feeling disappointed.
Finally she decided that she could not play that game any longer. puma mens shoes Therefore, she confronted him and professed that after all those years, he was still the only man that she had ever loved. mens puma shoesAlthough the guy knew of her feelings for him, he was still taken back and have never expected her to react that way. He always thought that she would slowly forget about him over time and come to terms that it was all over between them. nike shox Although he was touched by her undying love for him and wanted so much to accept her again, he remembered why he rejected her in the first place-she was not the one he wanted. nike 360 air maxSo he hardened his heart and turned her down cruelly. nike running shoesSince then, three years have passed and the girl never return anymore. They never even wrote to each other. NIKE air shoes The guy went on with his life..... still searching for the one but somehow deep inside him, he missed the girl.
On the Christmas of 1995, he went to his friend's party alone. "Hey, how come all alone this year? Where are all your girlfriends? What happened to that Vancouver babe who joins you every Christmas?", asked one of his friend.nike air max He felt warm and comforted by his friend's queries about her, still he just surged on.
Then, he came upon one of his many girlfriends whom he once requested to pose as his steady. He wanted so much to ignore her ..... not that he was impolite, wholesale nike shoes but because at that moment, he just didn't feel comfortable with those girlfriends anymore. nike shox torchIt was almost like he was being judged by them. The girl saw him and shouted across the floor for him. Unable to avoid her, he went up to acknowledge her.
"Hi......how are you? Enjoying the party?" the girl asked.
"Sure.....yeah!", he replied.
She was slightly tipsy..... must be from the whiskey on her hand.

Wow, and this is supposed to be easy to use?

Easier than the command line anyways
